Firefox

Firefox is a free browser developed and distributed by the Mozilla foundation. It is a software multi-platform which functions on various versions of Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

Firefox has many advantages and replaces Internet Explorer advantageously. One of the principal assets of Firefox is certainly its security. It is for example impossible for a site to install a program without your authorization (bars tools, spyware...). Firefox also integrates a protection against phishing which warns you if you are on a site indexed like fraudulent.

Firefox posts the Web pages quickly. Moreover, the engine of returned pages used, Gecko, respects the standards of the Web, which guarantees to you an optimal posting of the sites in conformity with the directives of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).

Another particularly interesting functionality is the navigation by mitres which makes it possible to open several pages in the same window.

Lastly, a system of extensions makes it possible to personalize and add simply new functionalities to the navigator.
