Spyware

A spyware is a software, or a module of a software, of which the goal is to collect information on you and your computer to transmit them  to its editor or to an advertising control. It is often by downloading a free program (gratuiciel or partagiciel) that the Net surfer recovers a software spy. Indeed, it is there a means for the editor of making profitable the work which it diffuses free; but that is done with the detriment of the respect of your private life.

The spyware cannot be suppressed simply; often, it remains on the hard disk even if one suppress the downloaded program. A spyware can be detected and removed while resorting to an application software called antispyware.
